4.30pm Treviscoe closes
Hamish's vision was great and his desire passionate for everyone to come together, envision and build a kinder world based on mutal trust, respect and love for each other and our beautiful planet.
The gardens will be open from 10.30am to 4.30pm. In the morning, there will be coffee and biscuits in the garden; and after the Auction, cream teas will be served. You will be welcome to bring along a picnic lunch (and a rug to sit on!) and enjoy lunch in the gardens, or maybe take a walk up Trencrom to enjoy the views.
No admission
There will be no admission charge this year; however, there will be collection points for donations towards the continuing work of Parallel Community.
Presentations
At 12 noon, and again at 3pm, there will be a little presentation in the garden, as a memorial to Hamish: Ba will talk about Hamish's life, work, and vision, and then Annie and Bernadette will talk about Parallel Community; this will be followed by the launch of Nigel Twinn's biography of Hamish.
Auction
At 1.30pm there will be an Auction of "Arts, Crafts, and Promises". Some wonderful prints and paintings have already been donated; we would welcome the donation of more quality items which could be auctioned to raise funds for Parallel Community. Please email Palden with ideas/photographs before sending or bringing any items in (

New sculpture
Throughout the day, people will be welcome to sit quietly at the special place in the garden where Hamish's ashes will have been scattered privately, and where there will be a new sculpture made by John White in honour of Hamish.
Commemorative dowsing rods
During the day, dowsing rods will be for sale, to Hamish's design, and started by Hamish before he died; they have been finished by blacksmith David Applebee, as special commemorative dowsing rods. Hamish's books will also be on sale, along with various other items.
Park and Ride
A ‘Park and Ride' will be in operation, with plenty of room to park cars, probably at Splattenridden Farm, Lelant Downs (by the tree trunk sculpture) on the B3311. Look for the Parallel Community signs and the PC marshals. There will be no room for any parking at all at Treviscoe itself.
Help
All offers of help will be gratefully received. Help will be needed with serving teas and coffees, and people to act as marshals or ferrying people to and from Treviscoe, and much more besides; also for setting up the previous day. If you feel you can offer any sort of help, please contact Ba on 740401 or email
