The Parallel Community

Connectors

Connectors are a key ingredient of the Parallel Community. They help coordinate and organise on a local, regional or national basis, or in terms of special interest groups. Connectors need to be proactive, good at working with and for a wider community of people.

Your group can have any number of people - a few people chatting over a coffee or talking online about a certain subject of shared interest, or thousands with a similar agenda.

It's very much up to you to develop your style as a Connector, and to run your group as you feel best, but the core group and other Connectors will assist whenever it's needed. The Connectors' Coordinator is .

We have packs of lapel badges, leaflets, postcards and letterheads available to help you get started. You can order these on this site - click here!

Time to get down to work!

As a Connector you will have special access rights in the Meeting Place on this website. You'll be able to post information, discuss things with other Connectors and see things ordinary supporters don't. This also carries a degree of responsibility to act in harmony with the aims and ethos of the Parallel Community, and to strengthen it.

We will provide Connectors with regular news about events and happenings across the world to enable them to create links to other groups in their own way. Connectors will be able to inform other members of Parallel Community about events they're running, actions they're taking, and things that concern them or the wider community.
